Our personalized Assessments and Treatment Plans provide the strongest foundation for therapy, and give you a road map to your wellness.
At Sage & Anchor we know that not every therapist or agency out there provides thorough assessments and treatment plans. Even if they do, they are often not shared with clients, nor are clients given the opportunity to ask questions about the results. We know this because many of our clients come to us not knowing their diagnosis or treatment goals – even if they have had years of therapy.
This is why we wanted to do something different. We truly see clients and their families as therapeutic partners, and believe that the most effective therapy happens when we are on the same page.
How do I know if I need a Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA)?
Here are some other common reasons for getting a CCA:
- A doctor or healthcare worker told me that I seemed anxious or depressed
- A friend or family member told me that I should talk to someone
- It is difficult to maintain a job or relationships
- An online questionnaire showed that I have some mental health challenges
- I want to know if what I am experiencing is normal
- Life doesn’t seem as fulfilling as it does for other people
- I have had some trauma or stressful situations in my life
- Mental health issues or disorders run in my family
- I have always felt like there was something wrong with me
- I feel like I have been anxious or depressed most of my life
- Therapy doesn’t seem to work or improve my symptoms
- I am not sure why I feel this way, and want to do something about it
Our Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA) will help you find the answers to your mental health questions in a safe and meaningful way. The CCA also gives us the ability to link you with additional resources and programs to aid you in your recovery.
Don’t settle for lazy therapy or being left in the dark when it comes to your treatment. Find a therapeutic partner who is just as invested in you as you are!
FAQs
Do I need to have a CCA before starting therapy?
Yes – unless, you have had a CCA within the past 6 months that we may have access to. We want to make sure that we have the most accurate and up-to-date diagnosis possible for discussing your treatment options with you, and putting your treatment plan together.
What can I expect during the CCA?
Our CCA generally takes about 90-120 minutes, yet can be broken up into two shorter sessions to accommodate your schedule. We will use open- ended questions and prompts to help you describe your symptoms and what you are experiencing. You can expect to be asked many questions about different areas of your life, including development, medical history, relationships, family, school and work, interests and hobbies, and more!
