Teen Therapist in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Mebane
Erich Priest (He/Him)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and teen therapist in the state of North Carolina, with advanced training in assessing, diagnosing, and treating trauma, anxiety, and stress-based disorders in teens and young adults (ages 15-24). I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Society, Ethics, and Human Behavior from the University of Washington, and my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut – School of Social Work.
“Adolescence can be one of the most intense storms to navigate. I want to help provide a loving and supporting space for teens and young adults to find their own voice – and then use it.”
In my years of practice I have worked across a variety of settings, including adolescent inpatient facilities, community-based outpatient clinics, and public high schools as a Licensed Clinician and Mental Health Specialist. I have served thousands of teens, young adults, and their parents through direct treatment, coordination of services, advocacy, and conducting professional development training across the country.
I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals, a rostered Advanced SPARCS Clinician, and certified as a Triple P Level 3 Teen provider.
Sage & Anchor welcomes clients and their families with diverse backgrounds and experiences, as well as gender and sexual minorities. We are in-network with most commercial BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina Plans, including the State Health Plan, and Evernorth (Cigna).
